Hello smuhd75, welcome to the forum.

Yes your X-100 Bladerunner is original. if there is a serial number it should be stamped into the back of the headstock possibly behind the tuners. Although, I have almost the same guitar and I can not find a serial number!

For comparison here is my X-100:

X-100.jpg

Mine has a rosewood fretboard and does not have the "Bladerunner" name painted on the body. I think the ebony fretboard and silk-screened name is "standard".

Thank you for your detail explaination sir, may i know estimated price of this guitar in us marketplace? , Btw my late uncle bought it when he went study at us, so no one in our family knew about this guitar history or the current price.

To be honest with you the "prices" are these all over the place. I've seen sellers looking for $5000! I bought mine in 1997 for $200.

Anybody on the Forum want to chip in with a opinion on a price?

Hey there!

The serial numbers are partially or completely unreadable on many of the X100s. I've owned two and both were unreadable.

There was a time when people were paying $4000+ for these, but I don't see that happening any more. A lot depends on condition and who's buying. These are fairly unique instruments and the original cases are enormous, heavy, and can be hard to pack. In mint condition with everything original I'd say probably in the $1500-2500 US range. I know that's a big range, but without more pictures or the ability to see the guitar in person it's tough to say.

As it sounds as if the OP may not be in the U.S., the prices in other countries can be completely different...and considering the present situation worldwide they can be completely different here in the U.S. as well...the guitar is worth what a ready, willing, and able buyer is willing to pay for it.

That is true of anything at any time. Additionally, the whole idea of what something is worth is not like it used to be. The idea of guitar blue-books, for example, seems laughable to me now because they are from an age where information moved much more slowly than it does today. The only way you'll find what something is "worth" today is to put it up for auction, and even then if it's not up for a very long period of time you'll only get a view into that small window of time and only for the people that saw the auction. That's why some people put guitars up on Reverb with high prices and just wait for offers, though many of those people seem delusional as well.
