I've recently acquired a nice '57 CE-100.
...its in great shape for it age and the finish has held up well, but it also has shrinking, cracked and missing binding syndrome.
I'd say the back binding needs to be totally redone, and the top material is mostly intact but will need some work as well.
I've since found some old Guild binding off a wreck.
Its for the top only which is probably fortunate as I'd imagine it will provide extra material for repairing and matching the top binding a lot easier.
I'd like to send this off for restoration/repair.
If any of you have had this sort of work done and done well, I'd appreciate your recommendations for a repair person.
