Bigsby rocking bridge - putting the grooves in

Hi
Might seem like a stupid question, but I have just bought the Bigsby rocking bridge, and as you will know it comes without the grooves for the strings - anybody out there have any tips on how to get the grooves in, how to do it accurately and not make a mess of it?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I've wondered the same thing. But I bought all of mine used, so I don't know. I don't know what tool they use, or if you can re-cut an old one to make the spacing wider or narrower.
