Boomerang Guitar Day... This baby's been to California, to Massachusetts, to Virgina, to Michigan, and... now back to Massachusetts.

Acclimate, acclimate, patience, acclimate, acclimate. :)

I'm glad this one has come back to the fold, Jim. I once offered this one up to Scratch, but unfortunately that never materialized. Anyway, can't wait to give it "the treatment." :)

Yea, he ended up getting a J45 and wasn't too impressed with it. It was gone in no time. Kenny was up here with that J45, which was a "Limited Edition" and wanted to leave it here a while and take my then DV73 home with him. I told him thanks, but I was good. That man IS my hero though. Spoke with him yesterday in fact.:giggle:

The NGD thread when I first bought it (new)... It's crazy to think that was over 8 years ago. Yikes.

Great story Charlie! My D25-12 is one of those "boomerang" guitars. It took ten years to get it back, but it never left Long Island!

I've only had one boomerang Guild make its way back to me, but I can think of at least one that I would gladly reclaim if the opportunity arose. So glad this one found its way back to your hands.

Congrats. With the small number of Orpheums made it seems that many of them were not keepers and people moved them on after a few months of playing. So it's good to see one coming home again. I sure have held on to my two for several years now and hope I can keep them even longer.

I've never had a bad Orpheum. I didn't buy this one to keep. This was just a short term buy for me to help make sure it stayed withion the LTG Family. So, I'm very happy it is back with it's rightful owner.
