What is " It " you ask? It's that I've taken my not played much Walden G2070 guitar and put in in DADGAD tuning. It's a Cedar over Mahogany guitar . OM style I would guess and it sounds really cool in that open tuning. I looked up a quick chart on common chords in DADGAD and am trying to find my way. Playing single note runs throws me because the shapes of scales I know don't work, so I have to hunt around a lot. Some of the chords I find feel like they need to resolve to something, but I don't know where to put my fingers to get there.
Just for the curious, here is a YouTube clip with a guy playing one. Interesting 2 finder picking style and too dark video, but it gives you an idea what the guitar sounds like in Drop D, I'd guess.
