Just remembered this quarantine era video series “Tone Tools” by Afie Jurvanen aka Bahamas presenting his vintage Aristocrat(s).

Look out for the dry humor. This guy is hilarious, not to mention an incredible songwriter.

I thoroughly enjoying seeing those old Guild s and watching the clip but I don't agree with everything he said during the clip.
But everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I think many of the new Guilds and Newark Street Guilds are fantastic guitars
and I still think they are a tool to not be over looked. It is great to see he really appreciates them for their heritage and the
fantastic design and build.

Hey I'm glad you posted - I need to find some of his bands music to check out.

Imo, what really sets them apart is the incomparable Felicity Williams on voc. (I can't really call what she does "backing vocals", it's more of vocals as an accompanying instrument!)

The song that really put them on the map, All The Time. (Felicity even running her mic through pedals and controlling them herself....just like an instrumentalist, not a singer who's FX would typically be controlled by the soundman)

And this whole performance is just so good! A real lesson in group dynamics!!

@Midnight Toker ive always loved Felicitys contributions to recordings but seeing them live really put her in a spotlight. She completely stole the show.
She really is a massive talent. I'd bet you could tune your guitar to her!! :p..... Considering what exactly it is she does within the music, it's difficulty to do on such a high level, and that I've never heard even a slightly off or slurred into note in any live video I've ever seen (a lot!). Just amazing! That girl will always have a job!! 👍🏻
