Saw him live just 9 months ago, he was pretty frail. Glad I got one last chance. I'm not shocked at his passing, but I am quite sad. Thanks for the many gifts B.B.

A monument has fallen..... One of my favorite of his "BB King in London" is currently blasting in the house.
Thanks for everything BB, I know you will get tons of tribute concerts and I will do my best to catch them all! <sight>

What a great talent! He will be missed!

Eric Clapton remembers BB King:

BB was the ultimate blues entertainer, there will never be another like him. I discovered his music back in the early '60's when he was only played on black radio stations - it was so cool to see his popularity cross over to all music lovers a few years later. Although all of his recordings are good, it is the pre Beatles era stuff he did that really grabs me. His 'Live At the Regal' album is a must.

A Sad, very Sad day indeed. He was a great blues singer himself, but how he could coax those notes out of his beloved Lucille(s), is nothing short of true greatness.

The first time a saw him live on Sept. 26th 1982, was one of the most memorable evenings of my life.

There is, always, a place for your blues on the strings of my guitars :(

One of my favorite videos with the late, great Gary Moore. The two probably haven't stopped jamming since B.B. arrived.
