With leaf turning running late here, my guess is that we'll go from green to bare almost overnight. The leaf watchers will be disappointed.

Here on the shores of the Chesapeake, we are only just starting to see some "off green" on the tree tops. Just like last year and the one before, we likely won't see our typical gorgeous autumn leaves until mid-late November. And by then you really don't get a chance to enjoy them because they all usually come down overnight during a windy/rainy cold spell. What really sucks is my neighborhood has 3 calendar scheduled leaf pickups, where all you do is blow/rake all your leaves to the curbline and a big vacuum truck comes by and sucks them all up. Well they're going to need to move their normal schedule back by at least a month because it's becoming the norm that 1/2 the leaves haven't even fallen off the trees yet before the third and final pickup!! :(

Plenty of foliage on the ground in Southwest Florida. Limbs, trunks. And branches attached!

I think something went wrong with Kitniyatran's last post above. The quote was attributed to me, but I think Kitniyatran actually said the quote. ?? Some kind of error on the LTG site process ??

The harsh reality.
Sorry about the earlier version of the post. Had some trouble trying to insert the quote from Uke

Operator error. Not LTG.
