I saw that when scanning Gbase for D15's recently and must admit I was intrigued. I think you would have a special 12 there assuming there are no issues. I'm not sure how many 12's from that era exist with the "M" designation either... but I love the darker stain. It's not a ton of $ though you'll find NT's on Ebay from the 90's cheaper if you'd rather go that route.

Is that a spruce top or is it all mahogany?

Thanks Graham. I'll be easy to spot in Arlington. Look for the guy with the leash and handcuffs being led by the lil short gal... :)

$770 shipping included for that guitar seems a pretty fair deal. I hope one day to get one myself as a sister to my '79 D25M. Nice going!

It sure is Graham...but it already ended today at $910.00...with reserve not met. I wonder if they lowered it.

Just an option to you all lookin for 12's. Ive got one just like this JF30-12 only blonde...with electronics. Almost flawless with deluxe case that I would let go for $900.00. Probably going to list it in the FS FT area in the next couple days.

Sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear well you know... The D212-M arrived this afternoon. Superficial surface cracks I expressed concerns about over the phone with Mazzotti Music turned out to be more significant than they let on. The guitar also had a very sloppy neck and bridge reset. The 'G' strings were reversed with tenor on bottom & bass on top. I'm sending it back to them tomorrow morning. I don't recommend these folks http://mazzottimusic.com/ to anyone...

Wow... that SUCKS. Very sorry to hear this, Scratch. What a disappointment and hassle. It looked like a real good 'un to me, but I guess photos can be deceiving.

Not the first one I've sent back Fungusmeister. Ya never know when you're dealing virtually. There's one out there somewhere. That one on ebay looks like a winner...

Now, that is what I would call a 12-string guitar, gentlemen! Just having bought my cherrished 12'er I reviewed it over at Harmony-Central and I was contacted by this British lad who was indeed tempted to let it go 'click' on one he'd found in the States on a holiday there.

It indeed has no braces and it shouldn't have. That's an archback, alright! I wish all my guitars would be archback guitars. They seem to have such volume and chutspa I've never found in a flatback no matter pricelevel. Strumming the strings I'll have to be prepared for the recoil or I'll fall over backwards.
