Apologies to the mods if I'm causing an issue with this one. I thought about a thread in 3-4 spots but ultimately landed on this approach as I do want a bridge.

I bought this little Harmony Silhouette/Bobkat this weekend for a decent price. Truth be told, I wanted the pickups for a few guitars. But the little booger is great and I've decided to (mostly) leave it alone. As you can see, someone has fashioned a TOM/archtop type setup. The plus is, that it helps a lot with intonation. The negative, it's not there yet. So to the point.

Does anyone have a spare surface mount – Aristocrat came to mind – bridge that I might try here. Ideally, it's lower than what I have. I'll get measurements on that shortly. This thing is solid but I think it could be (funny to say about an old Harmony) great with a few bits and bobs. Tuners I can handle/service. The bridge is my hang-up right now.

Thanks all!

Call Guild, if you have your heart set on one. Maybe the store is funky, but people have done it over the phone before.

Why not do a post-mounted Les Paul style TOM?
I think in a weird way I'm trying to avoid the irreversible mod, even though I know it is 1) cheapest and 2) probably the best outcome.

I guess I'm having you all be my sounding board as well. So there's one vote for post-mounted.

You could also do a Bigsby bow tie on a small aluminum base — they’re around the same profile as an Aristocrat’s separate floating posts (though not as flexible with different bridge tops).

Well, if it was my guitar, I'd probably be thinking of some kind of rosewood bridge saddle - that could sound great on a bright sounding solidbody with roundwounds, but sourcing a plain G-saddle in rosewood is a hassle.
But since you're going tune-a-matic anyway, might as well stop it from moving around when you bend a string, right?
