Playing a Bosendorfer grand piano was one of those life-changing moments for me. I was playing trumpet in Europe and I had some time with one of those on stage one day before a concert. Oh my!

Piano AND Guitar beautiful. Times have changed....which was fortunate for me at age 5 since my folks picked up an old upright that a neighbor was giving away. Later they picked up a baby grand. Piano's been my main instrument for 60+ years. Had lessons for a year or two, but I mainly play by ear. When I hooked up with Mrs. Cougar, she had this very nice Kawai. It is actually an awesome piano. We had it moved from Salt Lake to North Idaho. The major remodel is nearing completion and I can't wait to get that out of storage and into its new home....
Note: That was my only guitar at the time of that photo. Ha!

Used to have a Kawai upright that was actually pretty good sounding. It came with the house. The house is gone and so is the piano. Sounds like a country song with a classical twist.
I used to mess around on it and learned chords and some songs.
10 years later, I just got a Yamaha digital piano that sounds surprisingly great and is much more portable. It is only 66 keys. That's enough for me. Anyway I am having fun and progressing.

Hoping for a local sale. Or relatively local. Craigslist, which is foremost for local buyers, makes sense for an instrument of that size and weight since transporting a piano locally is easier than shipping it across the country. And Craigslist is free.
Funny thing, there is almost always a free piano on Craigslist no matter where you live. Like @silverfox103 was saying, they can be challenging to get rid of; there are about 50 free pianos on Vancouver Craigslist right now. If you happen to collect neglected pianos, this is surely a golden age. Or maybe if you owned a giant catapult...
