My SFII is sadly without interior label, due to hippies.
Anyone have pictures of nice clean labels?

Yeah, I heard about that problem with the hippies, going around and stealing the labels out of Starfire basses. Good thing they nipped that in the bud... :)

Why/how did hippies remove the label?

Refinish, red glitter everywhere. Terrible things like I've never seen...

Is this the bass you were selling on Talkbass a little while ago?

My '69 has its label still in tact. I'm also getting a '64 next tuesday that I believe has its label as well. I'll try to take some pictures next week of the twins once the new (old) one gets here.

I'd like to answer that by asking another question. Why don't the pentacles keep their evil spirits away?

As qouted by the queen of the hippies, Grace Slick, 1969. Or to take it a step further, "you've got to be hip to be square".

Regardless, I will be very interested to see what the tag looks like on the 64'.

Damn, missed delivery of my new bass today. I arranged to pick it up at the fedex center tomorrow. I'll make a new thread with pictures, my thoughts, etc. when I do.
