I am still loving my 8 string baritone Guild.
It has filled several gaps in my guitar collection.
With my C# tuning, this guitar is so versatile.
It is now going with me to my gigs.
Sounds great both acoustically and plugged in.

It sounds great even when capoed all the way up to the 6th fret.

So are there any other owners of this new 8 string offering from Guild?

Richard got one:

There should be at least one more member having one by now.

I'm not seeing any posts about anyone else getting the new Guild 8 String Baritone.

So, anyone have one?
Love mine and finding it to be a very versatile guitar.
Tuned C# to C# it has stopped any desire that I may have had for a 12 string guitar.

I have owned 12 strings my whole adult live but can no longer comfortably play one.
This 8 string is amazing and easy to play.

You would think that heavier gauge strings would be hard to fret but in C# tuning, with the right string gauge, this guitar is very easy to play.

I would love to see others here getting them and reporting on their results.

I do not TMG but I am intrigued by the reviews I have seen to date. I love they way a good baritone sounds for some types of music and they tend to suit my voice. Glad you are digging yours. I am currently not in GAS mode but when I am it is on my list to test drive.
