So, I posted about a guy I recently reconnected with. He is recovering from Cancer and can't really pay much anymore. He had bought several acoustics from me over the years and in the past few weeks I've bought back several of them including the Brian Gallop student guitar, the Martin 000 Morado, a Guild DV 72 NTV and just today this 2005 Martin HD 28 LSV. It's an interesting and not often seen guitar. The LSV stands for Large Soundhole, Vintage bracing/appointments. Although it's not a Clarence White signature model, it is very similar.
Again, has that smoke smell but like the 000 and the Morado, it's not overpowering and totally awful. It will however take some work, the case especially. I've found that Naptha helps a great deal as far as cleaning up the guitar itself and reducing that smell.
Here's a few pics. It's a really sweet Martin for sure. It has one of the most comfortable necks of any guitar I've ever owned.
