Do Guild guitars have a limited lifetime warenty?
Is a neck reset covered by warenty?
Where would one even go to get warwenty work done now?
I don't need any work at this time but I was just wondering how well my 1991 JF-30-12 is covered.
I bought it new from a store that WAS an authorised dealer at the time.

You have to go through a authorized Guild Dealer to get a return authorization, I believe. A neck reset normally would be covered, but it would have to be looked at by someone in the food chain for approval. Warranty work is still done in the old custom shop facility in Nashville.

I'm pretty sure that the Guild website still has a list of authorized repair centers and luthiers. The go-to guy in Columbus is still Tom Davis. He was affiliated with the shop where I bought my F-44 in 1987 and had done the original set up for it.

Hey, Mark, did you get a neck reset done under warranty? I've wondered if those were covered.

If there is a dealer left in the Sale Lake City area, I'll take the guitar there for an opinion.
I have 4/32" of saddle showing above the bridge.
No noticable bellying, but the neck does look like it dips at the body slightly.

My issue was the bridge lifting, Doug. 'fraid I can't answer about the reset. Seems the worst they could do is say no, though.

Fortunately my guitar should not need one for the foreseeable future, but I've always been curious how much the warranty covers. Thanks for the reply, Mark.
