These guys are what we’re up against. Not only does he think the truss rid cover is upside down, and doubles down in his editing with a graphic comment, when I called out his error in a comment, he TRIPLES down!

I never did get the whole emotional thing behind the TRC orientation.
That’s the way Guild designed them, to mirror the headstock shape., rather than some random bell shape (yeah, Gibson, I’m talking ‘bout you!)
If we don’t care enough to keep Guilds Guilds the way Guild intended, who will?!?

Nice work, Chris! The TRC Police are absolutely essential in the pandemic!

But if we all colored between the lines, there would be no more originals.

Correct Guild TRC orientation is a Guild shibboleth.

What the heck is a "shibboleth" you say? Ask Adam Neely (fast forward to 6:17).

You are correct, and tangentially an interesting video so thank you. I have an idea...

The TRC is fine "upside down" aka the correct Guild way. What is wrong are the silly oversized tuner bushing flanges/washers, way over the top. More weight and it's ugly. I'm kind of sensitive to headstock cosmetics. They totally make or break a guitar for me.
