I was sorting through a few photos in the early hours this morning and ran across one that made me think of a GF-25. I sort of took a lichen to it!

I think I might be GASsed, but I'll welcome second opinions. 8)

Thanks,
Joe

Joe et al,

Pardon my ignorance as I'm a bit late to the party here, but what does GAS stand for?

Hi Joe; punning lichen and liken ... and since you asked, would flatulent describe it?

I think it stands for: "I don"t see how in the world that green blob made Joe think of a GF-25."

Sandy,

FYI, "GAS" is actually the generic "guitar acquisition syndrome." We've just Guildified it around here. :)

Oh, and Joe... I agree with cjd... It must be some sort of Rorschach (sp?) test to look for GAS. :)

Oh yeah, Al Rorschach....isn't he the guy who worked at Westerly for many years? I think he was the guy who wrote the model numbers on some of the labels.

GASsing is not to be confused (John) with any form of flatulation!

Happy Monday all,
Joe

I get that a lot ... boos, hisses, groans, etc.
Right: the way people commonly react when somebody cuts one in a crowded elevator ...

Sort of a variation on Newton's Third Law of Motion, would you say?
Sure ... or maybe Boyle's Law about gas pressure and volume. :D J

Ah yes, the old Boyle-Mariotte card.
Card? Boyle's Law is why there are vents at the top and bottom of an elevator shaft so the column of air above or below the cab isn't compressed by the cab as it travels ... the relief vents prevent a column of trapped air from causing increased air resistance to the movement of the cab ... and help exhaust the cab in the event of bad pun ...

Susan's got that unmistakable smile of sweet relief on her face ... you don't suppose ... :D
