And the bridge is done! Rounded all the edges, contoured the top to the saddle angle, sanded to 1500, then hand polished with secret Aussie polishing compound.

And with the compensated saddle. Surprisingly, the chisel proved to be the most effective tool. I needed to make fairly vertical cuts, since I was working off of the flat top surface, prior to arcing to height. In a guitar saddle, they can use a pretty much finished blank since they are just working to an approximate guesstimate. I wanted to be more precise. So that when I shaped the top, the intonation points don't change.

Did a little fiddling with the saddle to smooth out some of the transitions.

And did one very important (I think) modification to the bridge. I stamped a discreet arrow pointing to the center point towards the headstock. Don't want it getting flipped around any time in the future and no longer fit the arch.

Regarding clocking screws, I have always set my switch and outlet covers so the slotted screw is perfectly horizontal. Now you can't not see that on yours - sorry.

Hoping your back is improving. You and your builds and sharing of pictures and information have become an addiction for me and, I suspect, many others on the forum.
