From fellow LTGer (and major enabler) "twocorgis"...

(His picture - we don't do radiators down here)

A 2011 D-50 Standard!

Really nice guitar from the New Hartford era, which is probably my favorite. Thanks!

still wish i had my D50, tone flames and all. the tone out of that was monstrous. maybe way too many overtones going on when finger picked, and the ebony fret board, well, it's tough on my finger pads ( i know, i cannot really explain that, but it is real), but what a great big full sound. they say the D55 is more balanced and I would have no idea why, maybe the bracing. But again, a NH D50, and keeping it in the LTG family, great story.

I'm glad It got down there unmolested, and that it's in the best possible hands. Play it in good health Dave!

That has to be the best guitar buying experience there is - buying from a trusted source and you know you're getting a good one. Congrats on the D-50

Congrats!
I miss my D50 big time, and it's in my top five of "wish-I-had it-back guitars. Right there with a certain D18 and a D25.

But, I digress. Enjoy your 'new' Guild, :eagerness:
