I'm moving for 6 months out of the year for work. Definitely can't take my touring rig with me and I've decided I want a TINY 2x12. Like just hugging the speakers on the inside. Seems like there aren't that many readily available truly compact cabs out there. Way less than I thought as I've always been a 100+ watt head into a 4x12 person and never wanted something small. I recently got a Mesa Badlander 100 which I love. It's probably going to be my live/studio/home-demo/all round workhorse head for the foreseeable future. I'm totally taking it with me. There's a switch to cut the power down to 20 watts so its feasible to use at home and I'd like to find something to put some leftover G12-T75s I have lying around inside.

Anybody know any good brands I should be looking at? What's the smallest 2x12 you've ever seen?

No personal suggestions, but I found this relevant thread on the Gear Page.

Oh hey I forgot I posted this! I'm a bit of DIY'er so I ended up buying a super cheap Traynor 4x12 PA column, chopping it in half and building new bottoms for them. I turned it into 2x12s with handles, feet and everything. They are the smallest 2x12s I've personally ever seen haha. I didn't really take good pictures while i was doing it, but I'll post the end product when I have time to go to my practice space this week.

Sounds surprisingly good with G12T75s. Each one handles 150 watts and weighs about 35lbs loaded.
