I changed my email and password last week and now I can't post there.
Anyone know why?
I have sent 4 emails to them with no response.
I guess that don't care if they have members there.

They may be too busy measuring the radius of their bridges, string spacing and deciding which tone wood by which boutique builder truly is the best this week. (I visit AGF often, but some of it is way over the top for me!)
Seems when I have had difficulties I heard back a bit quicker. Maybe somebodies on vacation?
Good luck!

Me too Chaz, and don't forget Gibson bashing Terry!

They seem to take themselves a wee bit too seriously over there. Other than this place, the next best forum seems to be UMGF. Lots of love (and knowledge) for the Guild Mark series over there. 8)

TMG, I was thinking that they may be trying to verify your new information. Maybe you punched in your email incorrectly? Just guessing.

What's your handle over there, and I'll send a PM to an admin to find out.

Thanks Chazmo.
I go by L20A on their site.
I sent them 4 emails over the past week, so they should have the correct new email account for me.
I may not be sending the emails to the right place for a quick response.
I'm using the one on the bottom of their page.

Well, it's really strange that I can't find your username in the members list, but when I try to send PM to L20A, your name is recognized -- however, you seem to have blocked PMs (or so it told me).

Anyway, I have PM'd cotten for you.

Your right, I forgot that there hasn't been a decent Gibson made since that Loar fella quit in 1924. And don't forget Bob Taylor may very well be the next Dali Lama
I agree, good respectful folks at UMGF.
I try hard to practice the adage of "Take what you do seriously, but don't take yourself seriously."

I haven't blocked it, they have. I can't post or give/receive PM's.
I think that it's because I changed email addresses.
I did it here at the same time though with no problems.
It has to be something in their security.

I have tried to join AGF three times in the past, and nothing ever came of it, don't know what the problem was. Don't really care anymore, between this place and UMGF I've got a great store of info to count on. Will lurk there once in a while, same for Gibson forum. For the most part Guilds get a lot of respect on the other forums.

Harmony H-173 bought in 1960 (retired), Alvarez AC60S 2008, Eastman AC320ce 2008 "Hybrid", Guild D25M 1974, Martin Grand J35E 2009, Martin D12-20 1970, Martin OM-21 2009, Martin 00-15M Custom (full gloss, wide neck) 2011, Voyage-air VAOM-06 2010

Yeah, AGF I find a little intimidating. Harmony Central Forums, since its site revamp, I look in on a bit.
But this place is like Goldilocks' 'just right', in the middle.
