Okay, I know there are 1,000,000,000 string threads here so this is not one of them. I finally counted how many strings I need to change if I were to do my second most hated task (changing strings, my first is making up a bed with fresh linens). 41 strings (I have a 5 string banjo thanks to a fellow forum member) - too many strings.

but. Wow. My Oxnard 2020 D-40e has a new lease of life with new strings and I’m about to restring my F-50 I purchased from Richard and I can’t wait to hear it.
All that to say, it’s a pain in the *** but changing strings makes me want to play more - the never ending cycle !

happy Monday , all!

Currently, I live a simple guitar life. One acoustic, string change every two months. One electric, string change every month. More time for playing - lots of hours of playing in there!

I will say that I love having new strings on!

I currently have 5 guitars that need new strings.... I used to find solace and well-being when I changed strings. I'm not sure when that changed. I'm sooo lazy in my old age!! Now... please don't let this descend into a Freaking string thread. Woody has really challenged our focus. No... NO!! But I get you!! (y)(y)
