Like they used on the M-65 and M-75. And yes, I've also searched for Valco ones; there don't seem to be any of them out there either right now. Chrome or nickel is preferable, but I'll take gold if need be.

Not sure if you want vintage or not. If you email Guild, they have bins of the ones used on the NS Aristocrats that they'll be happy to send you both in gold and chrome -- inexpensive too.

Any update on the success of finding these feet? I've seen multiple old threads looking for them but no update on any results.

Thanks.

As mentioned above, just email Guild and they'll send some to you for a minimal charge. I've done this successfully. Apparently, they have loads of them.

^^^ this. I emailed them and purchased a few in both chrome and gold. Very inexpensive. They were a little lost at first then I sent them a photo of the NS Aristocrat bridge and they knew what I wanted.

I managed to get some of the reissue feet but unfortunately they're not usable for what I have in mind. Unlike the old ones, they can't be angled to meet the curve of the top.

Now that is something you need to tell more about! What is different to the old ones ?

Ralf

I was able to purchase a pair of bridge cups in nickel this week from Cordoba Music Group.

Contact was via info@guildguitars.com

They asked for payment via paypal. $10.00 US.

Here's the part # 770-3012-000. (nickel)

They take up such a small footprint on the body that it works just fine for a 1966 Starfire 2. No issues.

So instead of a neck reset or filing down the rosewood bridge it does give you a few more MM to work with.

I had already taken the thumb wheels out of the wooden bridge to get the action lower.

It was "ok" in that state and playable, but less so after the 10th fret I suppose.
