I’m mostly interested in the 74 , he’s supposed to send pictures tomorrow and I might get someone from the Canadian guitar forum to check it out. Best thing is they are under my guitar budgetTwo mahogany tops and one spruce top. Choices to make...
Jared, FYI, that's an arch-back, all-mahogany D-25. This was a transitional time when Guild was using arched (laminated) mahogany for the back but continued using a solid mahogany for the top. I.e., this is before they started using a spruce top for the D-25... This instrument would be very cool to have, but might not sound quite as punchy (or loud) as the iconic D-25 that you're used to hearing -- arch-back with spruce top that is. Anyway, I love this guitar.... I'll bet it you'd love it. Good luck in the hunt.
Oh, and TRC police!!!! ALERT!!!!

It supposed to be set as shown on the ring, to follow the contours of the top of the headstock.I find guilds covers confusing never know what is the top or bottom

I did send him a message him about shipping, I think he said it was refinished but it’s only $850 cad about $630 usdSo which one is wrong? I'm not seeing it.
I really like the 74 D-25 myself.

What Chazmo said -- completely different sound than a sprucetop archback....still super-cool, just very different.Jared, FYI, that's an arch-back, all-mahogany D-25.
