I assume you mean a period correct same model as the original, yes?

Do you have a pic of the back? That might help. Maybe even the Guild part number which may be on the pot but obscured by solder.

I think I only have ‘80s EMG pots but I’ll take a look.

Put it back together?

A case for not removing knobs that have been on a long time.

I can tell if a guitar has original knobs by how stuck they are, really stuck means original.

304 is the EIA source code for Stackpole. Likely audio taper.

The one listed on Reverb doesn’t look the same. I’m going to wait for an exact period correct replacement. If one doesn’t pop up, I’ll just replace it with a new one. Thanks Rambozo96

Does it stick out like that or is that from it being damaged?

@hansmoust likely has one of those. I am waiting for him to prepare a package of parts for me, to send over the pond. But i'm not sure when he will get to it, because he has been travelling a lot, and it sounds like he has to dig pretty deep for me. If you can wait a bit, and he has one, and you buy it...you can ask him to include it in my package, and just pay the shipping on the one pot from NY to Minnesota (I think?) instead of paying from The Netherlands>DRC... just for one pot. If you need it fast though, he may be able to send that single pot out much faster than my bulk pakage. in any event, I would ask him.

It's even got a Guild referenced number on it: 004020 - Linear 500K Volume Pot

I believe the concern is the knurled shaft bit isn’t totally correct. One could use some measures to make this work but at that point just get a new CTS/Bourns pot for the time being until the correct one shows up.
