21 year old Bonnie Raitt opening for the Byrds back in 1971!!!

This is a European bootleg of her legendary live remote for WMMR from Sigma Sound Studios with Freebo on bass. I've linked to "Blender Blues" (one of the sexiest songs ever recorded) from that broadcast several times.

Here's what Discogs says about the label: "Issues semi legal releases using a hole in the European copyright laws concerning recorded public broadcasts. It should be noted that many of the released recordings are infact audience recordings."

Regardless of whether it is a bootleg, it is a very good-quality recording. With a nice mix of classic blues, some of Ms. Raitt's own songs, and covers of tunes written by Stephen Stills, Jackson Browne, Steve Winwood, and more. A very enjoyable listen.

hear some Joni and Joan influence in there for sure!

That was exactly what I was going to say, Bonneville88!!!! The Joni influence is very strong in this.
