** SOLD ** Up for sale is my mint condition 2018 orange label Gibson rosewood burst limited edition Songwriter 12-string. I've got it up on reverb for $2600, $100 off for LTGers. When I say mint condition, there's not much else to say. Comes with excellent condition Gibson case.

So it looks like this sold on reverb... I think. But here's something I haven't seen before: Reverb says:

"We are working to verify that this payment clears. This process can take up to 72 hours,"​

and they say "Please wait to ship." Anybody know what this means? Reverb also says "Reverb Payments payment completed on 11-11-2023." Isn't "reverb payments" just a credit card that reverb handles (for a small fee)? I can't figure out what the tie-up could be....

I've had that happen with Reverb. They make sure they have the $ in hand and then tell you ok to ship. It's never been a problem in my experience . Beautiful 12er, the buyer will be very happy.

Thanks, portsider. Good to hear. I decided to use reverb's "chat" help line. After a short wait (it's Sunday after all) I got a live person who mentioned it was a first-time buyer, which I kinda suspected. Like you, they said not to panic, lol. Hopefully the payment clears and all's well.

** SOLD ** I was notified pretty soon after my inquiry that the payment cleared. Now I've just got to pack it up. I use reverb shipping labels, which are usually a great deal and much cheaper than if I shipped it myself.
