The 2013 Guild MSRP Pricelist (effective February 1, 2013) is now online.
Mind, this is MSRP pricing, not street pricing.
All the new guitars from NAMM 2013 are included now.

http://support.guildguitars.com/priceli ... celist.pdf

A couple of things I noticed:
- A Truss Rod Adjustment Wrench for Most US Guild Models can be orderd
- Replacement Tuners for US series and GAD series tuners, nuts, saddles, endpins, strap buttons,... can be ordered

The new Guild leather strap and the Guild strings are not included.

Grover Rotomatics and Gotoh tuners you can get, Guild-specific items like pickups, bridges, tailpieces, Bigsbies, knobs, etc.... you can't. Silly.

Thanks, Ralf. It's good too see all of the Guild models and available items in one, concise list. :)

It appears to me, the Newark St. Collection is going to sell fast (at those prices)! Which is a good thing. 8)

I notice that the Standard Series F-30 and F-30R (non-electric, non cutaway models) are not listed....

Interesting because they are still on the web site. Maybe they are not making any more but need to sell what they have?

I doubt Guild is stopping F-30 Standards...I would rather guess that it is an error in the price list. Or do you have facts for your statement or is that also just a guess from you?

Amazing. It seems like the price of a F412 went up almost $1000 and did the F512 by almost $6000.

Not sure where you get your numbers from  , but that this is not correct.

The F-412 in blonde was $3819.99 as MSRP in 2012. In 2013 it is $3999.99, means $180 price increase.
The F-512 in Natural was $3.919.99 as MSRP in 2012. In 2013 it is $4.399.99, means $480 (!) price increase.
You see the same trend when you look in a Taylor or Martin price list between a year.

The price difference between the F-412 and F-512 is now more realistic than it was in 2012 I would say.

I don't really understand the big difference between F412 and F512. The prices of the raw materials can't amount to anywhere near that much, if any at all, and the labor is probably pretty similar. If they'd go back to a maple neck on the 412 as on the JF65-12 (and they should IMO), the 412 materials might cost more.

Agreed, good maple isn't cheap. But it's laminated maple. I thought the F-512 is using solid rosewood for the back and sides, or is it laminated as well? The Guild webpage specs just show "rosewood", which doesn't help...
I think it is just a marketing trick to price the F-512 "more high-end".

Here's what I noticed: a huge increase in prices of American-made guitars. Glad I bought when I did.

Seriously. I may have to rethink my plans for my tax refund.

Another apparent departure from the price list, though less significant than the F-30 Standard: the G-312. Like the F-30, the G-312 is still on the website, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it disappeared--I can't imagine it was a big seller. I was somewhat intrigued by it, though.

I had thought about getting one, myself. I owned a Westerly G-312. Sold it to a forum member. That was a really nice guitar. Very loud and powerful, more so than the jumbos. My guess is the NH version is worth having, if you can find one.

My mistake, I'm referring to guilds on ebay that are listed in new condition for $3000.

The price list is manufacturer suggested retail pricing. The street pricing is >30% less usually. Depends where you buy obviously. With ebay you need to carefully check if the seller is an authorized Guild dealer (listed on Guild webpage), if not, no warranty from Guild! Many buyers do not know about that fact. But most guitar manufacturers only give warranty to the original buyer and only if bought from an authorized dealer (see FMIC/Guild warranty on Guild webpage). That alone could make a big difference in price.
