Seller would be better off providing some specs. I suppose someone truly interested would either already know, or could they could google it, but still . . .

Never had a chance to play one of these except in a loud room at the last LMG in 2013, so I really can’t say how they sound. I’ve played a couple of other all Koa guitars that didn’t do a whole lot for me, but in all fairness they were Taylors, which generally don’t don’t do anything for me.
I know that our esteemed moderator @fronobulax owns one of these, but I can’t recall his thoughts on the one he has.

Yeah, with a diamond set in the headstock to dot the "I" in GUILD!! And yes, I think it's technically frono's wife who has one, but yeah, in the house and family. He can expound more.....

Yes, technically Mrs. Fro’s guitar, and they certainly are pretty!

There was buzz at the time and excitement over the prototype at LMG III.

Mrs. Fro. has one. She was taken by it at LMG III and it an Anniversary Guitar seemed like a good wedding anniversary present ;-)

I can't really comment on the sound. It is different from her NH F30 Traditional but it is a long time since I sat down, listened and tried to find words. Some LTG folks who have gathered in NJ have played it.

It is not Mrs. Fro's most played guitar at the moment. She has played guitar to accompany a children's choir for decades and, in the absence of an organist at church, she sometimes accompanies the adult choir and leads the congregation. For a number of reasons the sheer volume of her D25 makes that her go to guitar. She practices on the instrument she will play.

Oh, and I didn't realize they made some special custom-shop badges and handles for the case as well. Super nice!
I think the badges were used for other instruments, but this was the first use.

The way I tell the story and I don't think I am wrong, is that this is the first Guild Ren Ferguson contributed to. His input was limited in that he couldn't do anything that required new tooling (hence this is essentially a Koa F30 with bling) but he specified the inlays, rosette, binding, tuners and, I think, that it would be all Koa. Simplistically anything that wasn't wood was to his specification and the diamond was his idea.

Frono,
I am looking to pickup my first Guild very soon I hope.
Being I do like me a good OM on occasion. The anniversary model has me doing double takes and I may be interested.
Would your wife be able to comment/describe what the Koa anniversary sounds like?
I am somewhat familiar with Mahogany per say but Koa is something I almost never have heard up front and personal.
Any thoughts you could muster out of her would be most appreciated.
Cheers

I will see what I can coax out of her.

I'm wondering if that's Curtis Putnam's guitar? He brought one of those beauties here to the house on the way to Arlington one year. We lost Curtis (Mr. P) about 6-8 months ago and I don't have a clue what happened to his collection. But then again, coming from Phoenix, it may well be a Fender/Guild guy that put this one up for sale.

I don’t know if you all have seen this?
It does sound nice and clear with excellent string definition.

That said the sound is in the room when playing it, not on headphone speakers.

Video 2

Here’s a sound clip.
Cheers

Jim, Curtis has the 45th anniversary model, based on the F40 if I recall correctly. Here's his guitar.

It sure has a pretty back, too!
