Made in New Hartford,CT in 2012.This is an excellent sounding and playing instrument.Very lightweight.Spruce top with mahogany back and sides.Red spruce bracing.All solid woods of course.This is from when Ren Ferguson was with Guild.These are some of the best guitars they've ever made.Powerful, even volume across the strings.Deep rich tone.
Strumming or fingerpicking, this D 40 standard really sounds good.In excellent shape with a few nicks,scratches but nothing major.Neck angle is perfect and plays great up and down neck.Original Gotoh sealed tuners included. Open back Gotohs currently on it.Much more attractive and lighter.Original case and Guild pamphlet included.

I can't believe this is still around. My 2012 D50 Standard is my go-to guitar. It's not my "best," but it's the one I've played for every gig and virtually every open mic I've played since I got it in 20`3. If this D40 I anything like my D50, this is a steal.

Mine is my favorite guitar.

I got a chance to play beecee’s NH D40 a few years ago and remember just how good it was. Light weight, resonant. It was like my NH F30 but fuller sounding.
