Not a Guild, but still a cool guitar. I am downsizing my collection, and this is the next one to go.

2004 Gretsch 6120 in an amber finish that accentuates the flame of the all-maple body. Equipped with two high-sensitivity Filtertron pickups, a bigsby tailpiece and the infamous “mud switch”, which I find very useful. Short scale (24.75”) with a 1 11/16” nut and a generous C profile to the neck. The guitar is in original, unmodified condition.

I have rarely seen a nearly 20-year-old guitar in this condition. It is not mint, and has clearly been played, but there really isn’t a mark on it to speak of. There is some very light tarnishing of the gold hardware, but you really have to look for it. Comes in the OHSC.

I am asking $1,700, plus shipping

The Gretsch 6120 is a classic, and that amber finish sounds amazing. The "mud switch" can be a game-changer for sure. I'm sure it'll find a good home.

It's worth noting that there were two different G6120AM versions in 2004. Yours, made in the Terada plant (JT), and a very similar, more orange-y one made in the Fuji Gen Gakki plant (JF serial number). IMHO, yours is the one to have, as the other had tinted poly sprayed on it rather than orange stain, and the figure looked kind of murky.
