I've got a starfire IV 2004, I believe this is when they were using Fender HB-1's.
What I would like to do is put the pickups my guild currently has in an Ibanez RG3120 in Vintage Violin (how ridiculous does that sound?)
and then buy some 2002 Guild HB-1's to put in the guild...? Looking at the ibanez, does this break any rules, any ideas on how it might possibly sound, It plays sound well but i want that dropped meaty tone, yet with those distortion cleans. Thoughts?
