I reported BOTH auctions for this bass when they came onto eBay yesterday - you guys need to learn how to spot an obvious fraudulent listing. These had "fraud" writ large all over them!

well, the first one wasn't. justin answered some questions of mine and it obviously was correct.

Both? There was only one active one when I checked. Give us some credit - even I can see a fraud when the same item is offered twice by two different buyers. But with only one listing there is much less to go on. Since there was already a discussion of the auction here, that is where I made my more substantial comments.

Since the original auction closed and was not on eBay as active, I am assuming that Yggdrasil is referring to two listings for the same bass that both appeared within the past day or so. They would be in addition to the original that appeared to be a genuine sale of Justin's gear.

Actually this what I saw - two separate accounts were hijacked within the same time window. When I checked my ebay bass search, both auctions were there, both identical except for the seller account, one on top of the other! These are in addition to the original, bona fide auction, which occurred about a week earlier.

Both had the jpg "Don't bid without contacting me directly first at XXX@gmail, or your bid will be cancelled."
Then specified a buy it now price.

Clear fraud red flags, even without the double hijack.

Another fraud listing up now - I'm about to report it:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/GUILD-Starf...N-/260856534472?pt=Guitar&hash=item3cbc42d5c8

Since it will soon be gone, I've included the fraud jpg in this post - I think they put this stuff in a jpg to make it more difficult for eBay to detect them.

Wow. What is it about that bass that either attracts several scam artists or one very persistent one?
