As the title suggests, I have a really nice D4-NT-HR"True American" that would be considered in excellent condition if not for a couple of slight marks on the bass-side neck (zoom in on pic along the fretboard at frets 3, 5, and 7). As such, it's still in Very Good++ condition, in my opinion, and there's absolutely no impact on playability. The classic Guild spruce top/mahogany sides and archback combination that we know and love on this forum. It currently has silk & bronze lights on it for a more mellow sound and feel, but it booms well with a nice set of phosphor bronze or 80/20s on it. Not a mark anywhere else that I could find, and action is very good with lots of saddle. It comes with the same TKL hardshell case I got it in, though I'm pretty sure it's non-original. (I've had it for 3+ years and am the second owner.)
$475+$50 shipping for the lower 48 cont. U.S. states. Also available for pickup in the Charlotte NC area. Will keep it up here for a week or so before moving to eBay or Reverb.
Thanks for your consideration.

Realized with the Guild aficionado-base here on LTG that this might not be the right place to hawk an entry level D4. Many of you have much nicer specimens though I will say the D4 makes a fantastic spare camping/picnic guitar. I've posted the listing to Reverb (at the obligatory higher price so the negotiators can have their way), but if someone here wants it at $475 + $50 shipping (to continental US only), I'll honor that original offer.

Here's the Reverb link for fun: https://rvrb.io/1995-2000-usa-d-4-d0z8tp

I'd keep it here Rickenmaxer. D-4's, while on the lower end of the US line up, is still a damn fine example of US Guild craftsmanship. It was a gateway Guild for me and many others. Westerly put a lot of mojo into these. IMO they really just said at time when the other big biys were building formica / composite budget guitars "Hey Martin, look we can make one with real wood and still beat your price point."

They simply skipped out on the bling and added features making it an affordable american made guitar that a beginner, struggling musician or hobbyist could afford. Make no mistake it is well equipped for those at the maestro level as well. This is the alpha campfire, couch, office guitar.

The D4 ended up selling on Reverb at $525, so I made a bit of a premium, and the buyer is getting an excellent bang-for-the-buck guitar at a still reasonable price. All's well that ends well, and I thank everyone here (and the LTG site in general) for your feedback and comments. Off to change my signature now. :)
