If a '90s Bluebird neck is too flat for you, you ought to try out Guild S-300. It has a 9.5" radius fretboard, and is perhaps the most comfortable neck I've ever played.

Thanks for the reply. I thought it would be, as I believe that was the spec. But this is a good deal flatter than my Les Paul. ???

Yeah I would think mine is flatter than 12 as well. I know the s300 is 9.5 as mentioned above.

So I checked out the radius on my 97 BB.
What I did was put the gauge on and shined a light behind to highlight any gap between board and gauge.

It’s certainly flatter than 12 inch.

Yeah, My son got me a set of those stew Mac radius gauges for Christmas. I did the same thing, with same result. Thanks

Thanks for the pics! Do the frets measure the same?

Speaking of frets, they look enormous which makes me wonder if the guitar has been altered.

I’m in the middle of moving and my ‘97 is in storage, but if I trip over it any time soon I’ll take it out and measure. It wouldn’t be the first time a Guild catalog was wrong.

Yeah frets are the same radius. They are pretty big so it may have been refretted prior to me owning it. I’ve had it for about half its life.

OP also mentions above that theirs measures same so I doubt that two individual guitars would have modded neck radius work done? But who knows? I’ve seen weirder things .

FYI others I measured were s300 at 9.5 and 70’s M75 at 12.
