1993 JF100NT-CRV $3350 2nd Owner

In light of recent events I am listing a few guitars for sale to help generate some cash flow for my "New Puppies" Fund of which pics and info can be seen here.

This is my 1993 JF100NT-CRV that I am listing for sale for your consideration. I am the second owner of this guitar and purchased it from the original owner who only used it sparingly in his studio. This guitar has never been gigged. There are a few signs of it being a 25 year old guitar all of which I will point out in the following description and photos. There are a few smudges and fuzzies in the photos which are nothing more than reflections, fingerprints, and threads from the cleaning cloths.

Here is the best detailed description I can give you.

There is the very slight finish check along the center seam of the top on the lower bout. You can't feel it in spots if you run your finger over it and in some spots you can. It was this way when I bought it from the original owner and my Luthier has stated that there is nothing loose and no stability issues with the top. Just a product of being 25 years old. There is a bit of discoloring in the finish where the original bottom strap pin was left installed by the previous owner but no cracking or checking through the finish there. The lines you see in the bottom strap pin area photo are threads form a cleaning cloth. At the bottom edge of the Maple wedge where the endpin goes is a small lacquer chip that is almost impossible to photograph and just as hard to see with the naked eye. It is about the size of fine tip sharpie marker point. There are 2 ball point size indentations in the top with one being at the center of the lower bout and one being on the lower treble edge. Neither of these is through the finish and both look more like fisheyes than dents. There is a small amount of faint pick marks on the pickguard but these will most likely buff out as the pickguard on these models is under the Nitro. There is one small 1/2" long finish check starting at the edge of the pickguard but it cannot be felt when running your fingers over the top either. There are very faint hints of polish swirls on the back but only in the extreme right light. Other than those items mentioned she is in Excellent shape with Low action, Proper String Break angle, and still a good amount of saddle left. Plays effortlessly with the Elixir Nano PB Light HD's on it. The nut width on this one is 1.75" and it has some of the most beautiful 3D effect rosewood I have ever seen on the back and sides. Full Maple binding throughout the guitar with Paua Shell and Abalone inlays. The 5A feathered Spruce top as they called it is extremely beautiful as well. There is the slightest hint of wear on the frets but nothing significant enough to effect play ability. Also one small divot near the frets between the "B" and High "E" string visible in the photo below. Overall I consider this guitar to be in Excellent shape for it's age and especially with it being as rare as this model is. This guitar also comes with it's OHSC which has a few marks on it but is still in Excellent condition.

The price for established forum members is $3350 from a verified Paypal account only which includes paypal fees and shipping fully insured to the lower 48 states for the purchase amount. I will not sell it internationally and this is being offered only to the US and preferably only to the lower 48 states. If you are local to the Houston Area I will accept cash and local pickup deducting the cost of shipping fees from the final price value. If you are interested please feel free to PM me here on the forum for more info or with any questions you may have.

On to the photos

That top is magnificent.

Thanks GAD, The pictures really don't do it justice. This entire guitar from the top to the back and sides to even the neck wood all has an Amazing 3D effect to it that is hard to capture in the photos. The top looks like it is 3" deep in person.

Sorry about that Ray, The great thing I find about the JF100NT-CRV in comparison to a Zero Turn mower is when I am playing the JF100 I could care less about mowing the lawn, LOL! Must be really hard to mow your lawn with a mower that makes Zero turns though. Just another selling point.:victorious:

Chazmo is correct Kakerlak. These are 17" lower bout Guild Jumbos with the upgraded wood selection and all the extra inlays. Sorry it took a bit for me to respond, I have been on Puppy Patrol the last few days and as tiring as it has been it is twice as rewarding.:dog:

I will consider partial trades on this one if you have something you think I might be interested in. I am going to put the trade value at $3500 while the purchase price will remain at $3250 shipped and insured including paypal fees. Might be interested in anything Guild Custom Shop whether it be Nashville, Corona, or New Hartford. Possible Orpheums? Would consider some of the GSR Electrics like a T500 or maybe a T400. I like off the wall and somewhat unique Guilds so if you have something just drop me a PM. Possibility of considering an X700 or 60's Dearmond equipped X500 as well. A 60's X350 Stratford Starfire perhaps? Everything is on the table with the exception of anything from Oxnard, Just not a fan of those.

Wow I love that carved heel, good luck with the sale.

And BTW Tx - looking at your sig is it possible that you are down to two Orpheums only?
