I may have an opportunity to purchase a Guild acoustic dreadnaught 1983 Ash D46 BLD Serial No. #100757

Can anyone please give me some/any input on this particular guitar ASAP?

Thank you!

My favorite player, bar none. Vary balanced tone and wonderful for both picking and strumming. Outstanding volume. One very much worth having. IMHO.

Go for it! I can't say enough good things about my D-46... 18 months later, she's still my main player. Richer than my mahogany and maple guitars, brighter than my rosewood...

Sorry you missed out. :( Although it's not a common guitar, you still see them from time to time for sale. Maybe next time it’ll be your time. :) Besides, seeing that it was in need of some cosmetic repair, I don’t think I would have gone much over $600 myself. But that’s just my opinion.
