Oh, so I was already late when I PM'd Dave a few minutes ago :( Congrats to TVeye for a great deal! I would've been forced to sell something to make it happen so I'm not that bummed anyway.

I know some of you guys like that shape, but after going through what I did trying to get famous guitarists to endorse them (and failing miserably), I could never play one. They turn me right off. I'd rather have a Bluesbird, or even something quirky, like an X-79. Who's selling one? The black sparkle would be nice.

I can see how, in it's day, it was not very popular. The trick is to look past the goofy shape and enjoy the features.
It's kind of a Guild anomaly also, isn't it? If there's another with the same ingredients........I can't think of of it.
This one gets to me on Saturday.

As Dave mentioned, it's not "mint" but, it's pretty damn nice....VG++.
This beauty was never abused and played very little. 100% original and never molested
(as seen in the control cavity pic, looks as though nothing has ever been un-soldered.)
The only discernible flaw is just above the nut where it seems some sort of string dampener was attached
making indentations in the finish (I think I can loose those with little effort.) Case in in good shape and included
the original Owners Manual and keys (along with a Snark.....thanks Dave.)
All in all, a wonderful example of an Early 80's S300D. Oh yeah, plugged into my Mesa studio .22, it kicks some serious arse!
