Hey folks -- I've finally decided the Guild has to go. The LR Baggs pick-up was added about 2 years ago for $250 and it's really sweet. The volume and tone controls are nearly invisible as they are inside just on the edge of the sound hole. They're easy to get to, but nobody knows it's there... and you plug in through the strap end pin.

It's in excellent shape with only a few minor surface scratches. It's all original except for the tuners (replaced about 20 years ago) and the bridge pins. The guitar has only had one repair -- the bridge lifted and was reglued (also about 20 years ago). About 2 years ago, I had Dave's Guitar in LaCrosse, Wisconsin install the LR Baggs pickup. I also had them add a strap pin on the heel (I always hated the strap at the nut as it interfered with some of the strange chords I play).

It comes with the original hardshell case (which I have to admit) has seen better days. This guitar has not been in a closet -- it has been played and has traveled around. The case has done it's job protecting the guitar -- but it has taken a bit of a beating in the process. It's still very usable... just not very pretty!

If you are interested, send an email to me for pictures and more info. I have to figure out how to get the darned pictures off my phone. Hey, I'm a musician, not an IT expert!

I'm not sure what it's worth, but I'll entertain reasonable offers. I don't want to put this thing on Ebay. I want it to go to someone who will really appreciate her...

Thanks for reading!

Carol, that would be any one of us..Sounds like a lovely guitar and a member of the family, hope you're selling it out of choice and not necessity. All the best to you Carol  Steffan
