I'm seriously thinking about parting with my Guild. I know I've mentioned this before, but finances are making it almost impossible to keep the poor old girl.

I'm the original owner. I bought it 1980 -- the repairs are as follows: bridge lifted in 1990 -- reglued; bridge pins replaced; tuning gears replaced about 1993; strap button fell out at a gig in 1995 -- replaced at a gig with screw-in strap-button which created an additional hole. Original hole filled and repaired and is almost invisible. LR Baggs pick-up installed 2007.

VERY few marks or scratches -- and the tone/action is wonderful.

If anyone is seriously interested in giving this child a good home, let me know. I feel horrible, but I'm selling everything -- Jay Turser 12-string electric acoustic, LaPatrie Etude classical (with passive internal mic)... I'm going to be guitarless when this is all over, but hey-- life is what it is!!!

Best wishes, Carol. Sorry to hear about the sell-off, and I hope this is all temporary for you.

Glad to hear you're only seriously thinking about it instead of actually doing it :D

Hope if you do have to sell it you can replace it real soon...

Keep one and keep it up.
If something is gone it is gone and this few bucks will be used very fast, but the guitar is gone.
as we mentioned before, you could even earn sone bucks with her.
so keep her, especially after 29 years.

Or is someone here willing to offer a buy back?
