barbara,
don't know exactly about the tuners. I believe hans said something about parts being available or not, this differs, but these tuners seem to be schaller m6 and the F-412/F-50 should be correct.

By the way, thanks much to California, I'm now looking for a Tacoma blond F-412. Go ahead, call me fickle.
Black or Blonde?

Kind of like the Democratic Presidential Nomination race.

I'll keep my eyes open, Barbara, as I have been... A Tacoma F412 should be relatively easy.

Didn't all higher-end Guilds have Grover tuners? Barbara

Hello Barbara,

It depends on the period and the model but Grovers were the standard on the F-50 at the end of the '60s. They switched to Schaller M-6 machines around 1973 and then they switched back to Grovers during the mid-'80s. That said I should add that Guild never saw a problem with using something else if that would get the guitars out the door!

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

I know at a local music store up here there is a tacoma f-412 with the d-tar system in it already. I dont know if you want the electronics. The guitar is new but someone set it on a hanger with a rubber like coating that ate away the finish on two little spots on the headstock, purely cosmetic, so its marked down to like $1400. Just a thought

The eBay seller, flip-it-fast, is a bit of a queer duck. (Ok, Graham... anytime you're ready). They are often "less than precise" in their descriptions and, I can personally attest, will sell something for a price lower than that which they paid. Interesting business model.

Well I wasn't ready Frosty, and I said that I honestly did not know it was the Pride Parade.

Although I did get some great fashion tips.
