Time to admit that I have more basses than I need just for recordings. I bought this one last year on a whim (see thread), since the chances of finding another in this finish are almost nil. It once sported a non-original bridge, hence the extra screw holes in the top, and currently sports a reissue. The wiring components might be replacements, too, but it seems to follow the correct schematic. There are scuffs and dents, but no signs of abuse - no cracks or other structural damage. I think it's a maple body and a mahogany neck. Plays very nicely.

So cool. I love my JS-II and barely play it enough, otherwise this beauty would be mine.
