So, I've sold quite a few instruments over the last few months but have several more to go. I either need to add on to my guitar room or get down to something reasonable and I've chosen the latter. I'll still be looking for select models and likely will never stop but I don't need all that I presently have.

I've posted a few times that I'm not a huge fan of 12 strings basically because I'm lazy and don't want to deal with all that. I've sold off a couple and am now left with the F-412 GSR, the D55-12 and this D 40-12. I'm going to go down to just two 12ers for now although the other 2 will likely go at some point as well.

I also will be slimming down the electric guitars I have. Again, I've sold several but have a few more to get where I want to be. I do have three of the Studio models. The ST 301, ST 303 and ST 402 SB. Another member has dibs on the 402 so for now that one is off the table. I'd be willing to sell one (maybe both) of the other two and will list them here at some point.

I'm attaching the Reverb listing for the D 40-12. It's pretty accurate and hopefully all the pics are still available. I can provide more/others upon request. It surely will win no beauty contests so if you demand your guitars to be in excellent to mint condition cosmetically just skip past this one because you would not be happy. I will add to the listing info that the Low E string height is about 3/32" at the 12th fret. Running a straight edge down the board it comes right to the top of the bridge which is a good thing. I'm not great at telling if a bridge has been shaved so maybe that's helped or maybe it's a had a neck reset at some point in its life (not by me).

So, I paid $475 for the guitar. I added a pickup (LR Baggs Anthem if I remember right) that I need to get $75 for. It also came in a ratty, torn, dirty gig bag which I threw away. I won't ship without a case so will include a HSC (non Guild branded) and I need to get $50 for that as well. So, all in price is $600 + actual shipping cost to you. I can take PayPal if that's what you choose but add 3.1% to the total which would bring the total so the total would become $620 + actual shipping. Or avoid the PayPal fee and pay via personal check or money order.

I'm not a fan of shipping guitars back and forth so please make sure this is one you want. Obviously, if I failed to disclose something meaningful I'd accept a return and refund but I truly hate going through all that.

here's the Reverb listing:

Hmm. It seems that didn't last long! Oh wait, you mean that's the original reverb listing. OK, got it. I was wondering, what's with this "mike's shop"? OK - that's the guy you bought it from. Still a great price for that 12er! Good luck with the sale!

Howdy, tc. I don't think I've ever seen my name in a sentence with the word "parties." Or "panties."

But seriously, this is going to be a playin' sumbitch, so it will prevent wear on my other 12ers.

I hope so Hat! This guitar is really cool I think, and has some great mojo from what I can see. I was thinking about it, but really don't need two 12ers, so you're helping me out here. Thanks, buddy!
