Previous buyer backed out, so I’ve got this one on the auction block:

$1875 shipped for LTG members (about my break-even on this one- DM me), looking to clear space for an incoming Guild or two. This is a pretty rare Hoboken with a very unique sound. I think this is also probably the easiest playing guitar I’ve ever played- effortless all the way up the neck w/ tall saddle too.

Nice guitar!
And I see a foot in the picture of the back of the guitar!

I did the 1 guitar for years and years. It took me a while to get used to 2, let alone 3. I only play regularly 2 of the 3 now.

It honestly confuses me when going back and forth ha ... some kind of muscle memory thing gets distracting. I'm one who likes to "forget" the guitar when in the zone. I think I would like two guitars that feel very similar but are different enough in sound. I have a "new" Guild from Richard that should arrive today, which I'll report on in the other thread. And other possible coming up soon.

I've also gotten into writing/recording with particular guitars, then kind of moving along. The D40 was really the most special, but I also was able to write a song and do some recordings on the D44 that would not have come through on the D40. So they all have their place- and I'm in a very small space so cannot hold onto more than 2, tops. The D44 is so folky/airy/breezy, and now I'm looking for the guttural thump again.

I just don't understand this "one guitar" thing, but all that aside, good luck on the sale, Donny!! (y)

Ultimately, I'm more of a minimalist these days ... you'd never believe it, but I used to carry 3 guitars back in my live band days ... different guitars for different songs (usually a Jazzmaster, Telecaster, and 12-string ... even a combo organ too later on).

and Tom, your quiver has very different tone woods. Maple, the GC8 (one of my faves), the DV72 (top shelf dread), etc...
