Is that pickguard original ?

Hi-yes, to the best of my knowledge. I invite any resident experts here to offer their opinion. I have never seen large pattern tortoise-iod like that on a Guild; pretty unique. I'm glad to see y'all have worked out the nut width! Someday I will update to a digital read-out caliper. If the nut width was actually 1 3/4" I would likely keep the guitar! Thanks for your interest.
