Hello all......SOLD already....thanks!

----------------------------------------------

Time to let go some of some projects I don't have time for these days.....not to mention some nasty medical bills to pay!

If not for need for binding repair/replacement this is quite a nice '57 CE-100.....here's quick photo and details.
I will email many more detailed photos to anyone interested.

Original and distinctive '57-58 light "ice tea" sunburst finish in good shape.

Original pickguard, tailpiece.
Original harness and pots...all work well plus original Dakaware "stove" knobs.
Non original early 60's period Grover tuners replace the Waverlys (without modification)
Very strong and nice sounding Franz single coil pickup.
Original frets with some wear.....they play well, but would suggest a fret dress.
Original rosewood bridge base with more recent early 60's type Guild rosewood replacement saddle.
1 5/8" nut width 24.75" scale
Neck angle is perfect (to spec)
Neck is straight with working adjustable truss rod.
Strung with 12-53 nickel roundwounds
Current set action measured at the 12th fret....4/64 on the bass side, 3/64 on the treble. Plays buzz free and clean.
Adjustment on bridge available up and down.....

3 ply binding on top needs partial replacement.....I can include some original Guild top binding from a wreck that might be useable.
Single ply binding on back too far gone and has been removed pending complete replacement.
Heel cap binding missing.
Neck binding OK.
Small areas of finish flaking and small touchup on back bottom edge.
Player finish wear on back of neck.....no gouges or dents.

Have an original Guild chipboard case for it, but can provide a basic TKL hardshell that fits well.

Let me know if you want more photos or details
PM me to exchange contact info.

I'd like $800 including shipping.
Can arrange for local pickup....I'm in CT.

Thanks,

Diane

Looks like Chris will be the new "caregiver".

That was quick......took me two years to decide to sell this and little more than an hour to get it sold!

Thanks all.....Diane

I'll update as I work on it. I'll do my best to honor it (and Diane.)
