Was seriously in love with this guitar for a couple summers, wrote lots of tunes on it I still play, but not playing acoustic at all anymore, electric too easy and versatile.
This is a special one, has Grovers - original - so out of the gate, it's a step up from most others.
I think the saddle will come up no problem and I even shimmed it a while back.
Previous work to the guitar was pro done, and done well.
For someone who prefers low action.
Super light with very decent construction and timbers. 1973 is considered by some to be a very good year for Guild acoustics, a high point?
Price is $1200. Cash/trade, cash price would be fair market value plus shipping. This is like an old friend to me, its never been shopped around, or been offered on Reverb.
Xmas Special ;]
Impressive "rain drop" grain features in the top, this would have been wood maybe not good enough for a D40 on up but actually has more character by way of what was perceived as flaws at the time.
