Yes you're right. Guild did make attractive cases....and of course guitars...and this 60-ish year old case is no exception. I thought that someone from the pool of 1960's F-30 owners on this Forum might gobble it up. I'll give it another run.

Hans...since I've only seen these 'no-line' tuners on early Guild 500's, 350's and F-50's with oval pearloid buttons, can you indicate whether the keystone buttons seen in the OP's posted picture are indeed original to this model and time period? Thanks.

Here is a nice original 1960's era Guild hard shell case from an F-30 model. Not sure what other models it fits? A friend of mine sold his 1960's Guild F-30 guitar decades ago but held on to the case for another guitar which he never plays. So when I suggested that he could make a little money...

I have a very cool and somewhat rare old Guild silk banner which features the S-300 model. It's not plastic like newer banners. I'm guessing it's from the 1970's because the music shop that it came from closed in the late 1970's? It measures 30" x 20". It's in good condition for its age, no...

Thanks again Ralf for posting that. That absolutely makes sense since most of the old ephemera I have (i.e. case & guitar tags/stickers and catalogs) date back to the 1960's and 70's.

Okay, it's all good. And thanks Ralf for the details. I think these stickers came from the same Guild case...at least about 40+ years ago! Not sure why I've had them put aside for all these years but Richard's post me me realize that I did! Back to the drawer they go!
