I bought a used 1974 G-212 about 1982. I got it for the unbelievable price of $300. I loved it and had it for several years. It now resides with one of my nephews and it still sounds good. I wouldn't mind having another, but that one is a bit pricey. Nice 12 strings though.

So apparently I wasn't the only one who would sneak into an older brother's room and try to learn guitar by playing theirs. My brother wasn't mad either when he caught me. In fact he started showing me chords. Welcome to the LTG forum!

On Thanksgiving Day, between fixing side dishes, there was some guitar playing. We were at my sister's house. Even though she doesn't play much anymore, there are several guitars there to play. Plus her younger son brought his Martin. She has a Martin OM-15, which we figured out is about 22...

I have 5 Guitars. Well really 4, the D12-35 is my brother's, but he's never played it much. So I have custody of it. Only one Guild, but it's a keeper. I've sold 2 guitars in the past year or so. Also have a few smaller instruments that are listed below.

I own a GF60. It's maple, 16" lower bout with a flat back. I bought it new in 1988, so almost 36 yrs old. I love it. I prefer the 16" over the 17" jumbos. Here it is now... Shortly after I bought it...

I also highly recommend the G7 Newport for 12 string. I love mine and it works great. The Heritage for 12 string is also excellent, but in my opinion is way, way too expensive. The notches in the rubber bar really get the job done. I use it on a '67 Martin D12-35 and have no problems at all...

I have indeed owned many Guilds through the years, but am down to only one these days. It is my maple GF60. I'll keep it until I can't play anymore, then it will go to a nephew.
