We call them roundabouts in the Virginia countryside but 50 miles away in DC they are traffic circles.
NOT to be confused with crop circles.

I could look at that all day, like art, beautiful, restful, forgetting the reality of the present, ridiculous cars with giant screens on the dash... It would seem no one's trying to be the smartest guy in the room anymore, but the opposite, like watching sheep head for a cliff, baaa, baaa.

This commercial bugs me, the size of the screen that might prevent your attention to the road is ludicrous, and at some point in the future, the car will refuse to go somewhere that has no Wifi "I'm sorry Hal, but I can't do that, and we both know why".

I loved all my old school Bose speakers, regardless of naysayers everywhere, still my main/only speakers, vintage 301's. There were some Polks I preferred but I foolishly let them go, but ultimately the Bose are much more compact and very efficient, suspended from the ceiling in opposite corners of the room, aimed towards the middle, walk to the other side and it's like the band is playing right over your head.

"No highs no lows, must be Bose". I never really had anything against Bose, I've just always thought that they weren't a good value. For home speakers? Make mine PSB, or my old Boston Acoustic T830s. Bose are masters at marketing though.

I don't remember paying much over $100 a pair 301's, 601's, even 901's. Marketing genius worked, pawnshops like big name brands, always lots in stock, and at some point real speakers fell out of favor for bookshelf junk.

Learned to drive in a '41 Weapons Carrier, flat 6/crash box, my first solo drive, down to the lake and back, and I'm still right here, 5 miles form the lake.

Eventually I tired of silly mid life crises cars and got into trucks again, Power Wagons. Purely for utilitarian farm reasons.
